Lighten The Dark – Mexico Series
Diving into the uderwater caves cause addiction: once begun it’s impossible to give up. There are simply no words that can explain how wonderful is being in the depths of Earth, suspended in a such clean water that seems not exist and gaze at the creations that Mother Nature generated in millions and millions of years. Jewels that are now jealously guarded in the absolute darkness.
The darkness.
In the cave is pitch black.
If it were not for the torches that every diver brings with him, nothing of what follows would be visible, hidden forever.
In this dedicated photographic series I wanted to bring to light the underground colours and wonders of caves located in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico.
I wanted to try to Lighten The Dark.
